Running a EART wheel strategy lets you generate consistent premium income on Global X Rare Earth & Critical Materials ETF while setting your own entry and exit prices on the underlying. Global X Rare Earth & Critical Materials ETF's wheel combines cash-secured puts and covered calls into a repeatable cycle: sell puts at strikes where you'd be happy to own EART, and if assigned, sell calls at strikes where you'd be happy to sell. Use our scanner to find the best EART wheel strategy setups in real time.
The wheel works best on liquid, high-quality names with stable fundamentals and active options markets — exactly the profile many large-cap leaders fit. The mechanics are simple: sell a cash-secured put on EART, collect premium, and either keep the premium if it expires worthless or take assignment at a discount to current price. Once assigned, sell covered calls against the shares to keep collecting premium until they're called away. Choosing the right strikes, expirations, and IV environment is what separates a profitable EART wheel from a losing one.
DMAT tracks an index of global stocks that produce metals and other raw materials essential to the expansion of disruptive technologies. Disruptive Materials Companies derive at least 50% of their revenues from the exploration, mining, production and/or enhancement of one or more of 10 materials categories that include Rare Earth Materials, Lithium, Copper, Carbon Fiber, etc. Stocks not meeting the revenue requirements are considered after review and recognized as Pre-Revenue Disruptive Materials Companies. In the case of Lithium, stocks with associated revenue between 25-50% are also eligible as Diversified Lithium Companies.
The fund uses a natural language processing algorithm to identify and rank stocks. The five highest-ranked Disruptive Materials and Pre-Revenue Disruptive Materials Companies per materials category are selected. The fund employs a modified market-cap weighting scheme for diversification. The index is reconstituted and rebalanced semi-annually.
The difference between a wheel that compounds and one that bleeds comes down to strike selection, IV timing, and discipline on assignment. Our scanner handles the heavy lifting: it ranks every leg of the EART wheel strategy by delta, premium yield, IV rank, and days to expiration, so you can deploy capital where the math works. Build your EART wheel strategy on data, not gut feel — and let the options wheel do what it does best: pay you to wait.
