Monitoring SOXQ open interest helps you see where real money is positioned on Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF's options and which strikes are attracting the most commitment from traders. Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF's open interest reflects the total number of outstanding contracts that have not been closed or exercised, making it a powerful gauge of liquidity, conviction, and potential support and resistance zones. Use our scanner to monitor SOXQ options open interest in real time and find the strikes that matter.

Open interest is distinct from volume: volume counts how many contracts are traded in a session, while open interest counts how many remain open at the end of the day. Rising SOXQ options open interest alongside rising volume suggests new positions are being built, while falling open interest signals positions are being closed. Heavy open interest at specific strikes often acts as a magnet near expiration and can hint at where dealers and large traders expect Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF to settle.

The Invesco PHLX Semiconductor ETF (Fund) is based on the PHLX Semiconductor Sector Index (Index). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in the securities that comprise the Index. The Index is designed to measure the performance of the 30 largest U.S.-listed securities of companies engaged in the semiconductor business. Semiconductors include products such as memory chips, microprocessors, integrated circuits and related equipment that serve a wide variety of purposes in various types of electronics, including in personal household products, automobiles and computers, among others.

The Index includes companies engaged in the design, distribution, manufacture and sale of semiconductors. The Fund and the Index are reconstituted annually in September and rebalanced quarterly in March, June, September and December.
