Tracking PBA historical volatility helps you see how much Pembina Pipeline Corp's stock price has actually moved over past periods, giving you a baseline to judge whether current option premiums are fair, cheap, or expensive. While implied volatility tells you what the market expects, Pembina Pipeline Corp's HV tells you what really happened. Use our scanner to monitor PBA 30 day historical volatility alongside longer lookback windows and spot the moments when realized and implied diverge.

Historical volatility is the annualized standard deviation of an underlying's past returns, typically measured over rolling windows like 10, 20, 30, or 60 days. The PBA 30 day historical volatility is one of the most widely watched readings because it balances responsiveness with stability. Comparing Pembina Pipeline Corp's HV to its implied volatility reveals the volatility risk premium — when IV sits well above HV, option sellers tend to have an edge; when HV runs hot relative to IV, buyers may be underpaying for movement.

Pembina Pipeline Corporation provides transportation and midstream services for the energy industry. It operates through three segments: Pipelines, Facilities, and Marketing & New Ventures. The Pipelines segment operates conventional, oil sands and heavy oil, and transmission assets with a transportation capacity of 3.1 millions of barrels of oil equivalent per day, ground storage of 11 millions of barrels, and rail terminalling capacity of approximately 105 thousands of barrels of oil equivalent per day serving markets and basins across North America. The Facilities segment offers infrastructure that provides customers with natural gas, condensate, and natural gas liquids (NGLs), including ethane, propane, butane, and condensate; and includes 354 thousands of barrels per day of NGL fractionation capacity, 21 millions of barrels of cavern storage capacity, and associated pipeline and rail terminalling facilities.

The Marketing & New Ventures segment buys and sells hydrocarbon liquids and natural gas originating in the Western Canadian sedimentary basin and other basins. Pembina Pipeline Corporation was incorporated in 1954 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
