(Petrobras) is an integrated energy enterprise engaged in the exploration, production, and distribution of oil and natural gas, with significant operations in Brazil and a global presence. The company's diverse activities are managed through four main divisions: Exploration and Production; Refining, Transportation and Marketing; Gas and Power; and Corporate and Other Businesses. The Refining, Transportation and Marketing segment oversees the refining process, logistics, transport, sale, and trade of crude oil and its derivatives, additionally managing ethanol exports, shale processing, and equity stakes in petrochemical ventures. In the Gas and Power segment, the company manages the logistics and trading of natural gas and electricity, transports and trades LNG, generates power using thermoelectric plants, holds interests in natural gas transmission and distribution, and engages in fertilizer production and natural gas processing. The Corporate and Other Businesses segment is responsible for manufacturing biodiesel and its co-products, producing ethanol, and distributing petroleum products.
