Trading a TRC straddle lets you take a pure volatility position on Tejon Ranch Co without committing to a direction. Tejon Ranch Co's straddle involves buying (or selling) a call and a put at the same strike and expiration, profiting when the stock moves more (or less) than the combined premium implies. Use our scanner to evaluate TRC straddle pricing in real time and find the moments when expected moves are mispriced.

A long straddle on TRC profits from large moves in either direction and is a classic play into binary events like earnings, product announcements, or macro releases. A short straddle profits when Tejon Ranch Co stays range-bound and implied volatility contracts. The breakeven points are simple: strike plus total premium on the upside, strike minus total premium on the downside. Comparing the TRC straddle price to historical realized moves helps you judge whether the market is overpaying or underpaying for volatility.

Tejon Ranch Co., together with its subsidiaries, operates as a diversified real estate development and agribusiness company. This segment leases land to two auto service stations with convenience stores, 13 fast-food operations, a motel, an antique shop, and a post office; various microwave repeater locations, radio and cellular transmitter sites, and fiber optic cable routes; and 32 acres of land for an electric power plant. The Resort/Residential Real Estate Development segment engages in land entitlement, planning, pre-construction engineering, stewardship, and conservation activities.
